Family Day at the Barn

Michelle, Austin and I spent some time at the barn today for Michelle's first lesson on Rhett.  The arena at Cape Cod Farm is awesome but it is an awfully difficult photographic challenge because it's quite dark.  Here's a few of the pictures from the day!

She's "tickled pink" :)
Rhett starting to get comfortable...
NOT!
Hitting his stride with the trot

Cantering

Stretching out in his stride
They're both surviving and pretty happy about it
Now he's just showing off
Buddies

I think Rhett likes it!
Austin's starting to warm up (he's a little scared)
Muahhhh!
Busted! and a little embarrassed
A rare picture of me.  I look much better behind the lens

This is where we part ways
I'm on to you...
Austin actually got on!

Rhett's New Barn

We went to visit Rhett today at his new barn, Cape Cod Farm.  He looked great and he really seems to love all the attention!  Here's some pictures from his lesson.

Another Day at the Barn

Here's some pictures of Michelle and Rhett a few days before we moved him to his new barn.  It was crazy muddy out but that won't be a problem anymore since the new place has an indoor riding arena!

Michelle says her baby bump went to her butt.  I'm not complaining ;)
The barn goat: Billy.  Very original.

A Day at the Barn 2

I recently made another trip to VA.  Michelle asked me to take some pictures of her and her son, Austin in and around the barn.  Below are a few of my favorites from the day.

Austin finally poses for a cute pic with mom :)

He was all kinds of photogenic today!

A Day at the Barn

The weather was perfect today to get out and take some pictures of a baby Clydesdale named BOLO (short for be on the look out).  He's pretty skittish but it was a blast and I was happy with the pictures.  Check out a few of my favorites.
